Sponsorship
Nottingham Concert Band is an entirely self-financing organisation, balancing members' subscriptions and appearance fees with ongoing overheads such as the hire of rehearsal facilities, the cost of music, insurance premiums and subsidised uniforms. All players provide their own instruments and are responsible for their insurance and upkeep, usually at considerable personal cost.
Concert Sponsorship
Sponsorship to meet the overheads of individual concerts is of enormous benefit, particularly where the aim of the event is to raise funds for a nominated charity or worthy cause.
Concert Sponsors are rewarded with complimentary tickets and inclusion in both the programme and commentary, together with credits in pre- and post-event publicity material and on the Nottingham Concert Band website.

Corporate Sponsorship
On a grander scale, Nottingham Concert Band is also actively seeking Corporate Sponsors on a seasonal or even annual contract basis. This would enable the band to invest in such areas as new uniforms, professional music stands, a PA system and large items of percussion kit. Players have also expressed an interest in producing a CD, which then could be sold to raise additional funds: this, of course, would require capital investment to cover recording and production costs.
Corporate Sponsors would be entitled to complimentary tickets, inclusion in all band programmes, on the website and the cover of any CD and in publicity material. During the course of the sponsorship contract, members of the band – comprising either the full band or smaller ensembles - would also be available to perform for corporate functions. Further exposure of the band/sponsor relationship, perhaps through use of the sponsors' logo on stand banners or even on uniforms, may also be considered, depending on the terms of the agreement.
